Which one has helped you the most? I have Hoosier trapping making sense of it all. Now just wondering which one of each has helped you the most?

Personally I like videos filmed in the same state that I trap in. Luckily enough the ones that I found informative have been filmed in PA. I like the Animalistics videos and the video by Rich Faler and Ralph Scherder. Also, I loved Mark June’s coyote trapping video.

I not only appreciate a good video, but even the best video isn’t worth the time put into it if your host doesn’t have any teaching ability in them.

Randy Smith’s Combines and Coyotes was super beneficial for Indiana coyote trapping

JC Conners Dvds on trapping ...top notch. Slim Pedersen's stuff... both books and dvds great info. Charlie Dobbins books will give you insight on the tactics on the trapline.

Lots of good options listed. I'm going to second Ed Schneider's stuff. You don't hear a ton about him but he has two excellent books and a video. If you want to pinpoint locations that take multiple coyotes per season his books are good way to help figure that out. He also has a great line of lures and baits. He is on Facebook and has been chronicling this year's coyote line. He has been hammering them.

I have used Ed Schneider's video, and 2 books to become a better coyote catcher. I do not have anyone around me to show me how to trap, so I rely on mostly written info and vids to help me along, as well as a friend or two I can get on the phone. I used methods put forth by Ed to find the spots all the critters go, on a given piece of land, and set em up heavy. Doing it that way has served me well. I have pulled up on 5 coyotes jumping (the kid calls it dancing) around a few times using Eds methods. I have caught over 100 coyotes this year, in 50 traps. I will be taking instruction from Ed this year.

I run jakes, and will be looking into getting some books and videos from JC Conner in the future.

I have both of these as well as his dirt hole DVD and all 3 couldn't be better.
Gary Jepson has a good one as well.

My opinion I think there is a difference. Right now I'm leaning towards coyote and combines for starters. Only one I know of from Indiana. I'll get a couple of books probably June and Miranda.

I’m actually watching coyotes and combines again right now It has been the best I have seen for straight forward instruction and showing Indiana landscape that is way more familiar looking than big western draws and saddles. It has lots of catches but more importantly detailed concise information that I glean little tid bits from every time I have watched it. It and Hoof beats of a Wolfer has been the best money I have spent on actually improving my catch numbers by a great deal
