I have never weighed one. The one in this pic was 25 lbs,and is a fairly avg size adult cat for here.I know I have seen quite a few bigger than the one pictured. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2019/01/full-21521-435577-p3010388.jpg)

I rarely weigh my catches but for a school project one year I weighed some lynx. 31 pounds was the heaviest and he was an old snaggle toothed male. I’ve seen bigger but I think 30-35 pounds are probably the big ones. I’m sure there’s a few oversized ones out there though.

Depends who you talk to. I think southern Canadians use kilos. Pounds, feet, and miles still more commonly used up here.

I suspect that bobcats OVERALL are heavier than lynx just because the lynx might be operating in deeper snow on average and prey density may be a lot lower in lynx country Don’t forget the cold weather. Hard work just to stay warm.

Ace Callaway #metoo This thread is out of control! 33 pounds is the biggest we have ever weighed.
