I believe the weight in question by A.C. was 64 lbs. my thought was, oooh, that’s a big cat. Smiley face inserted here.

Biggest one I caught was 34lbs weighed on a postal scale. Huge old tom. Got one that was 31.5, big one too. Both of those went to a taxidermist that has bought a bunch of stuff from me.

Got an email from a state biologist in Maine. The average weight of the cats she weighed is 25 for males and 19 for females.

I don't ordinarily weigh catches but have weighed a few lynx, biggest was 34 Lbs. I think the weight depends a lot on what might be in their stomach especially for lynx. Longest I measured was 46" that went to the auction. However the biggest Lynx I caught went straight to the taxidermist and I didn't get any weight or length, although my guess is he was pushing 36-38 Lbs.
