The best pose for a bobcat mount is just hanging the money you would have spent on the wall. I have seen one or 2 good bobcat mounts, the rest (and i dont mean this rude, just giving my opinion) are horrible. Haha just look through this thread haha
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

I would be dis-satisfied with most (all but one) of those cat faces.
Taxidermy is expensive.

I think coolbrze has a totally awesome cat mount!...I'll tell you what else I think, for the 2 posters who said they wouldn't be happy with any of the mounts, or dissatisfied with all but just one of the mounts because of the face....Those comments were uncalled for.
The OP requested pic examples, for ideas for his own mounts, not to critique the cat mounts that I'm sure those who posted are proud of.
No doubt 99% of the Trapperman audience couldn't care less about anyones "constructive" opinions, since the pics offer all that is the needed to make a choice, the negative stabs help no one.

I appreciate everyone posting pictures of your mounts. I'm sure every single one of those mounts hold some fantastic memories. Hey you got it Dbooth, Hope you get some good ideas...I did the same thing years ago. I'll tell you the story behind my cat mount...When I was young ( 20 yrs old) and calling foxes, that small female was my first called cat. I know it's not the best mount out there, far from it, but can only imagine the stories behind all these neat mounts, and wouldn't disrespect anyones mount because that's just messed up. Goodluck on your mount!

Negative! The internet is a wonderful tool. You post pics, your gonna get " atta boys" or criticism. Canines and felines are hard to master ( mostly the head/ face) Few do it well. I'm a taxi snob and so far, their has not been one pic posted that I'd be happy with. A couple " decent" ones though. For those doing a once in a lifetime cat/ canine,. I'd research the best of the best. There is a place in Alberta, I think it's called " the art of taxidermy"? Can someone post the link? and you'll see what mounts are supposed to look like.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Why do taxidermists have a difficult time getting the faces correct on cats?
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
