New England and Denver are tied with five losses each followed by Minnesota and Buffalo with four each. Buffalo losses occurred four years in a row. On the other end, Pittsburgh has the most wins with six followed by New England, Dallas, and San Francisco with five each. Pittsburgh has two Super Bowl losses.The Rams won one and loss two. The Rams win occurred when they were in St Louis. Four teams never participated in a Super Bowl including Cleveland, Detroit, Houston and Jacksonville though the Browns and Lions have won NFL championships prior to the creation of the Super Bowl.

In reality to me that shows a reasonable amount of parity when you figure roughly 25-30 teams over those 50 years. If one would look at say MLB and a 100 years or more there are teams such as the Yankees who have been far more dominant over time. We never seem to remember the super bowl losers but teams like the Bills and Vikings had some very good seasons to be that good for several seasons.

Who has the most NFL championships?

I grew up as a steeler fan in the days of Bradshaw, Harris, Mel Blount, Jack Ham and the rest. Moved away after college and couldn't see all the Pittsburgh games so I had to watch a bunch of other teams.
The patriots have been my favorite for a long time. Very little show boating-they just play the game and win and the fans of other teams can't handle it. So, instead of admiring the good football they play, the fans of the others hate them and make up excuses.

Prior to the first Super Bowl in 1966, between 1933 and 1965, Green Bay won 9 NFL championships and Chicago 8. I believe 1933 was the first NFL championship game between two division winners and when the NFL was reorganized into what it is today.

I don't like the patriots but believe they have the best coach and qb in history. My problem with them I believe both would sell there grandmother for a win. There records will always be tarnished by spy gate,deflate gate,etc. It is very impressive how they win without many stars, it seems to be all Belicheck and Brady.

Belichick has put a team that I think most would agree is far from the best team personnel wise in the NFL into the superbowl again. He does not allow players to put themselves ahead of the team.

I would like to see them go back to the old ways where the AFC only plays afc teams and the NFC only plays teams in there conf , I think it was around 69 when teams changed I remember when the colts I think where in the same div as the rams , nothing like the good old days , same with nascar wish they had a race where the guys in the pit's held up sign's when to pit etc .. except when there's a crash , a good ol race.

And the Patriots never have an above average wide receiver.......and a new roster every year...And when the league is going lighter/faster line backers to cover speedy wide outs for a more passing offense....Belechick does just the opposite to combat that....he goes heavy with a full back and a running game.....smash mouth old school football.

Not to take anything away from Brady because he'll definitely be in the Football Hall of Fame, but he's got an amazing offensive line. He seldom has to scramble; it's like the line forms a horseshoe around him. Drew Brees has the same thing; he has great protection too.
