Sounds bout like when I was stationed at Minot AFB in the late 70's, Worked on B-52's & KC-135"s in that kind of weather !!! Then for fun, go chase yotes or do some fishing at the dam on the mouse river. Dennis

J,this weather always gets me to wondering what was wrong with my ancestors moving to the upper Midwest. Then I wonder what was wrong with me,staying here.LOL-ask Rally--it sure isn't cause of the great duck hunting. But I do love our beaver. Tom

Ive only been in the interior now for 3 years but i like it...we havnt hit -50 too many times lol but -20 is fairly average and i find it kind of refreshing.. Sip my coffee on the porch at -20. My one complaint is my garage is still a bit too cold to turn wrenches and tinker.. At any rate ill take the cold over the constant grey skies an rain of western Oregon. Cant stand the rain all the time... Before escaping to Alaska we were thinking of moving to Devils lake ND, wife has family there and we found a great deal on an abandoned farm. Without regret i still wonder what it would have been like. Ever been to the Devils lake area jbelile?

had enough of that weather in nodak land while stationed there ! the fishing and hunting were favorable though .

son loves Minot.the driving from place to place he says not so much some times. I have a son in Minot as well. He's a pilot but if your son is in my son's plane he's having a really bad day. (He's a life-flight pilot)

No bugs, hard water, no mud, wood splits better. And we have good coyotes.
