This past summer I obtained several dozen #550 cast jaw Jim Helfrich traps that are in excellent condition. They appear to have been dyed and waxed but never used. I offered them on the shed in the fall and sold a number as well as some of the smaller 450 size traps and a few 750 traps. I still have some of the 550s left along with a few 450s and will offer them again to any one who wants one or a pair for wall hangers or to give them a try in the field. These are heavy duty, well made traps and I have had several customers in Australia who are using them with success for their big dogs. Jim Helfrich was a visionary with the design of this trap and the dogless mechanism is somewhat different from any other I have seen. I include pictures of a 550 with the self setting dogless mechanism. The 450s are the same trap design but about an inch jaw spread smaller. The 550s are 35.00 each, the 450s are 25.00 each, both plus 10.00 shipping and I will offer one of each DELIVERED in the US for 70.00. When I listed them before, a tman member ordered one each of the 450 and 550 along with my last remaining 750 for 165.00 DELIVERED(GONE GONE GONE) in the US but never sent the payment and that box of traps is still setting here and available for that price.
