There's good and bad of every make. I've always been Chevy but with their latest closing of US plants and moving to Mexico, I'm done with them.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I'm a Ford guy, mostly because it's what I've always purchased, not for any real tangible reason. I guess I like their styling a little better. I don't think there's any real difference in reliability Cold starting, especially with an older vehicle, is dependent on a strong battery to getting cranking RPM up to speed, a working choke and high idle cam, and clean spark plugs with a strong ignition system. Any make or model can accomplish these things, or fail in them for that matter. My old Mitsubishi starts fine in the coldest of weather too, but it's butt ugly and struggles to go 75 mph into a headwind

I had to floor it going down hill so I had enough momentum to go up the next hill. But it always started.

This is the same reason I will never look at GM again, and they have the balls to say Americas truck! LOL And Ford has done the same thing. In fact, they already had the highest Mexico production rate. And now instead of increasing production in MI like they had said, more is moving to Mexico. I can always count on fake internet outrage and hypocrisy to give my a chuckle.
