I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

It's almost too big to skin like a bullhead, roll in flour/egg/cracker crumbs and fry in lard. I wouldn't know how to put it up. Fillet it maybe .

Headed to Mille Lacs in the morning, shouldn't have to worry about kitties there. Doubt you catch a kitty there. Might not catch a walleye there either though. It's February, walleye fishing is always slower the last week of January into the first two weeks of February. The weather (barometer) plays an ever bigger role this time of year. You will still have action the last hour of daylight if you are on the right spot, but the daytime bite will be slow.

It's a channel cat. The horseshoe chain has a good population of them, some guys actually go there and fish them on purpose in the winter.

Funny, 6 of the 8 and the two biggest walleye I caught yesterday were between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.... Barometer was falling, so that was a positive.
