Not a football fan I did watch the NFL honors last night a lot of good things being done by a lot of the players it was interesting not even a hint of the crybabies during the whole thing maybe just another case of a few ruining it for the good ones.

My beef is with the NFL for their lack of leadership and not nipping it in the bud when they should of took charge and being PC scared of it! If the players were as racist as the media would want us to believe then why would the Black guys have White wives and White guys Black wives. They seemed like a pretty tight bunch for all of the BS they put out there. Seen more hate mongering at the award shows then this NFL awards show.

If your patriotic today you must be a Nationalist or a Nazi and they try to make you believe that garbage! LOL

During the nineties when the baseball players went on strike I told a friend that it was an argument between the greedy and the ignorant . He ask which was which . The owners and the players where both :greedy and ignorant . Today it is the same way with football . They play four 15 minute quarters plus half time is another 15 minutes .Some how that adds up to three hours plus from the start of the game to the end .The owners are billionaires and the players have the chance to be rich for life. But most are out of money soon after they are done with their career .They have no respect for those that made it possible to have million dollar contracts and they have forgot that the fans pay their salary in the end .They sometimes don't pass drug tests that they have been told where coming and they can not even be smart enough to call for a ride when they have had to much to drink . Meanwhile owners sign players to high dollar contracts regardless of crimes they have been guiltily of . And all the while the same owners promote football as America's sport . It has become another example of a battle between the greedy and the ignorant

If you like football, watching the games is great entertainment, nothing more for most of us. I'm not much of a movie watcher but some folks spend hours every week watching them.
If you look at everything through political lenses, stare at msnbc or foxnews for your entertainment.

Great to live in a country where we have so many choices for how we spend our down time.

Great for most of us, maybe not so much for those that choose to to sit on their arse's and stare a bunch of overpaid crybabies all season long.
