Nice light colored yote today with some rubbing on the side of the belly ..would you trim some of it out and sew it up or just leave it as is ?
Any advice is much appreciated

That coyote is shot, I wouldn’t even skin it.

Pics are hard see what you really got sometimes but I'm with trapperne here , doesnt look like much to sew back together by the time your done trimming.

That is a prime example of one people think still look good. I can see it from head to tail not just the side.

Skin and put it up. It is still worth something to sell or just have it tanned.

I'd skin, flesh, sew it, board it and ship it.

Rd Mt, why are those junk. I’m not knowledgeable enough to tell. Also what does a coyote like that bring, in your area?

Advise; look at the new Wild Fur Shippers clip on coyote handling, and look at the ear cartilage removal it will help with the drying.
Boco nailed it; II grade GC (good colour) but still in the 100$ range for the type you have in Alberta vs 150$usd if it was perfect grade I
MAy should tell as the hammer falls on it.

$100 seriously? Here in the US we would get a dmg 3 grade at Nafa and have for less than that.
