Curious about that same thing. I'm guessing their estimate is a tad high. 32,000 will be offered, my guess. This could be fun.

Could be more southern and Mid western coyotes are finding there way to auction this year? What is the going rate for a Missouri/Tennessee/ Kentucky type coyote? I know they aren't heavies but maybe the extra demand is bringing them out of the wood work. I don't think they'll be coming outta MO. Our numbers are down for most I've talked to. Weather limited access for many. Fewer license sales. Not to mention the "quality" of our yotes. The demand on lower numbers already seems to be driving prices upward. I know there's a couple new buyers in our state, just getting started, but still buying locally. A couple that are more well known are doing some pick-ups here and there to beat the state auction and the groeny truck. Coyotes are really the only fur out there that is showing signs of a strong competitive market. Beaver, rats, coons, are showing slight improvements, but nothing like coyotes, at least from what I see and hear. Lot of trappers reporting lower catches.

Before I give my number I need to know if Zagger has his in the March sale.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Sure is very little advertising for this sale. Seems like I'm getting an email every day from NAFA. Not necessarily about wild fur but stuff about this sale - ranch fox assortment, ranch mink rancher groups, payment terms, stuff like that.
