This being my last year in my 50's got me thinking about my youth. Me and a couple buddies trapped but didn't really know much just having fun. I've been thinking a lot about predator trapping. So I joined this forum and watched a bunch of YouTube and ordered some traps and supplies. I'm getting ready to go after some coyotes coons and bobcats next week. I've been practicing my sets and modifying traps and think I'm ready. Wish me luck I'll definitely need it. All I need now is the rest of my stuff. 7 boxes shipped from F&T and 5 arrived. The other 2 evidently are comming to south Mississippi via Alaska so they will be a couple days. Went with Bridger #3s and if it goes well and I can get the hang of it I'll upgrade to MB550/650s.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Congratulations on becoming a active member in a huge family it's addicting as you become more comfortable and start catching more animals.
If I may I'd suggest starting a journal and adding pictures from time to time I wish I had done that it would of been something that my kids and now grandkids would really appreciate and enjoy a living history if you will.
Stay Safe out there and enjoy your day !
Allan
