I was wanting to make a butterscotch trailing lure with some butterscotch flavoring i got from a local icecream store. Its not actual butterscotch but a liquid flavoring. What can i use to make a slightly thicker lure i can put in squirt bottles like urine and fish oil come in? Thands

my advice is quit wasting money on trailing scents. works lots better and lots cheaper to put your trap where the coon is going to go anyway

I don't know everything but I know enough to not argue water trapping with bigfoot. IF I was to use a trailing scent it would be something like he just described. I can get a couple gallons of shad pretty quick with a throw net.
Id likely squirt it with one of those big dish soap bottles though. Even drunk I would remember not to have a squirt from a dish soap bottle....

Honey might be a good thickener yep, as is blood meal and corn meal and glycerin and syrup and "lure thickener" from JR & Sons or Dakotaline.
