I am a boat broker here on the east coast. I saw the Time Bandit listed last week for $2.8. What happened to the brothers? Why are they selling out?

They don't look old enough to retire. Maybe early 50s. I met Johnathan a few times in Gloucester while I was scalloping out of there around 2002-2003

They are old enough to retire I went to high school with them John is my age and if you can't retire from crabbing at almost 60 you certainly should

I see it sitting "in it's spot" in the harbor in Homer whenever I go out. Not sure when crabbing season is, but Time Bandit has been around here most of the winter.

Who says you have to be a certain age to retire? If you can afford it, you can retire whenever you want! That's a hard life out there on the sea, doing what they do. Can be very profitable, too. Perhaps they have something else they want to do, and no one in the family interested in taking the helm?
