Top one looks to me like either a female mink or a long-tailed weasel and the bottom looks like some kind of mouse.....just guessin'.

I should have added, the tracks were found on the top of a ridge a long way from water.

Without a doubt and guaranteed. Top pic weasel. Snow looks too soft for anything bigger like a mink t stay on top. Bottom track, guaranteed is a mouse.
