BigBob trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 21,049 St. Louis Co, Mo	Heat up some kind of cooking oil/grease, mix in as much Borax as it will dissolve, place it in a shallow cap where they are running. They will take it back to the nest and wipe it out. Same thing with sugar water for sweet ants. Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon. Remember Bowe Bergdahl, the traitor. Beware! Jill Pudlewski, Ron Oates and Keven Begesse are liars and thiefs!

20scout trapper Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 5,516 West Central MN	Tempo. Mix up a small batch and spray, ants take it back to the nest. Lasts for weeks and doesn't harm kids or pets. VictorD trapper V Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 141 Belair MD	Termidor. Works on all ants, can get rid of carpenter ants without locating the nest. Small ants in a house or yard are usually gone completely in a few days. Can purchase it from Amazon.

Just because you can purchase professional use insecticides you should become very familiar with their use, restrictions and personal safety of their use. Your protection and potential "contamination/run off into drains and of water courses" should be noted prior to use.
