I seen in another post someone used hot dogs for bait. Can anyone give me some info on catching rabbits? What are the best traps, bait, set location etc. I have to relocate, so I need them alive (no body grip markings lol).

Thanks to all.

Carrots or lettuce would probably work.

Some type of cover on the cages will make them more confident to enter, Rabbits like salty baits.

I use our Groundhog bait in safeguard cages without any issues.

Drift Fencing is correct! If I use any bait besides hay, I will catch everything on earth except rabbits!

Then consider using the rabbit as bait for other nuisance sets, like coyote trapping.
