Tried them didn’t like them on the 650 not enough room to get my fingers in to set them easily.

In my opinion the pan on the 650 is big enough as is and the coyote needs to be centered up on the pan pretty good to fire the trap .

Red I had used a variety of traps until I came across the 650 , to me it just seemed like the first real coyote trap I’d ever had in my hands. I’ve always used them set with 4 pound pans and have never experienced the problems that others have complained about. After talking to Ed Medvets I’m going to use a few this coming year at 6 and 8 pounds just to see for myself what he is talking about .

Golf ball it's not the trap pre se ,,,
And on coyotes 5 ,6 lbs you will still catch coyotes without a problem.
I like 650s where there are red fox and want to keep them out of traps.
Everything else I run is at 4 lbs like you and run a Monty style pan set up
So that the reason for the change
And I m 63 and going pedal some traps lol

I cant make myself run heavier than 3 lbs.
