Looking to buy a dozen either Bridger or Duke. Channel sets for otter and some beaver. Dukes are just a little cheaper so want what will preform best?

I like the Bridger 280. Have killed a pile of otter and beaver with them. They will hold rats by the tail. I also like the Belisle, but they are a whole bunch more $$$$.

Of the two id have to pick dukes I cant stand those dinky eye bridgers! skin pinching sobs. They have left me bloody on to many occasions! X 10,000 ON BELISES

I find the eyes on the Bridger 280s to not be near the problem they are on the 330s. I have both Bridger 280s and 330s. The 330s are a total pain to set, even with a locking setter. The next 330s I get will most likely be Dukes or BMIs.

I have used both the Duke and Bridger 280's fairly extensively. Bridger by far has been the better trap for me.

I have had the spring eye go around the corner 1 time on the Bridgers. That was on the first of two tail caught otter I have had in them. I have caught beaver in them by the front foot a couple of times as well.

The triggers need a little work on the Bridgers to get the travel on them down to my liking but I used them stock for a couple of years and they still got the job done.
