Okay now and I am serious.
I have carried a pocket knife all of my life and now my hands and fingers are getting to the point I cannot open one. So I am going to have to go to a fixed blade or some kind of spring assisted opening one. Which do you think would be the best in this situation ?
Thanks, J.D.

What kind of blade shape do you like? That is the place to start. I like these. Small enough to not get people excited in the grocery store. Well built good steel holds an edge. Very useful narrow blade shape. Not wide and klunky https://www.buckknives.com/product/118-personal-knife/0118FAM01/
