Any recommendations on where to buy equipment such as mouse/rat and mole traps, snake handling equipment, cage traps, and etc? I now have EIN so I was hoping to learn of some discount pricing. Please feel free to PM me.

Thank you!

WCS ^^^^sponsor, for specialty items. For rat and mouse traps, I would contact your local hardware store and try to by bulk from them. I'd also be selective on the model of mouse and rat traps, models vary.

Home Depot had metal triggered Victor rat traps on clearance several years ago. I should have wiped them out. TDHP likes the big plastic pans.

Yes, was looking at Victor m325 and m326 mouse and rat traps with yellow pan. Rat traps ~$19/do and mouse ~$46/ case (72). I find nomol traps for ~$26 for 4 pack.about $6.50 each. Is there somewhere less expensive with business account?

Depends on what you're looking to buy and how fast you need it. You may want to look for a landscaping supply place that's nearby. They'll often have bulk traps, pesticides, etc. You'll pay a bit more, but it's there the moment you need it.

They produce well, imo a lot better than the traditional victors.

Homeowners traps are the traditional traps, they skirted right by them.

With the big plastic pans on the rat traps you will even catch mice with them .

Purchase discounts usually only apply to bulk purchases or if you are lucky to find some clearances or sell out items.

Being a business doesn't typically give you discount pricing on much of anything. It is good to have a business license or EIN as some business's don't sell to consumers. You will in many cases be required to purchase minimum quantities to qualify for better pricing in my experience.

I like the ones with the hole in the pan, and a bait cup under, hard to get a miss.

Dont be afraid to look at supply shops for other industries too. Supplies such as tyvek suits and can foam/cleaner can be had for a fraction of the cost of HD and some of the well known ADC supply shops.

Any difference between the mouse trap above and the Victor that is referred to as "prebaited?" Trap pan looks about the same size.

M032 and M325 is what I been using lately. I have crates of mixed models but the models I use get the job done. They come 72 to a box. I have a mix of M325's and M032's in that tote. You will notice a big difference between the two when it comes to pan tension. That trap ^^ will do the trick.

The 72 to a box also comes in around 50c each. Important when you load a house up!

If you were to hold them traps horizontal and give it a light shake, the pan should bounce freely to where it can't roll back anymore. Then hold it vertical and tip/lean it in the direction where the pan can roll back freely as well. If you have resistance and them pans aren't maxing out then I would get it to the point where they do or use a different trap. You will get misses with any trap, but you will get a lot more if them pans have resistance. I've watched lots of footage on my cams of rodents working traps where traps were placed in many different areas and different setups. If the pan has any resistance other than the little that the trigger holds, you will have more misses and stolen bait than you want. I always bait my traps, can't afford to rely on prebaited traps. The few prebaited traps I tested out on jobs alongside baited traps sat for the entirety of jobs without a catch.
