I caught a couple of coyotes last season along a creek where I'd made some castor mounds for beavers.
Anybody else had luck using beaver castor for coyotes? Maybe cats as well??

Castor works great as a curiosity lure for k9s. I use it at dirtholes and flatsets. I usually buy a couple bottles so I can use some for k9s, and some for beaver.

Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow

I used it some last season. I didn't catch any yotes with it but I will say Backbreaker will catch every coon in your county! I was catching so many coons I had to stop. They plugged up every set and the sets near it.

A castor wrapped in a hayball hanging in a walkthrough cubby is deadly on cats.Old time set that still works great today.

Well I can say that I caught my first 5 coyotes ever years ago with Backbreaker. A lot of canine lures that aren't straight gland lures have some castor in them(if you ever run out of Beaver lure sniff your canine lures for hints if castor if you need emergency beaver lure).

Just remember it's going to get a rub/roll response so position trap andure accordingly.

Mark June's lure "Canine Candy" produced, coyote, bobcat, and 'coon for me last season! Just smelling it, it smells like it has castor in it.

Oh yeah I have good luck with castor and coyotes. Backbreaker is one of my favorites. In April when Paul had free shipping on lures I ordered his skunky Backbreaker, looking forward to see how it works this fall.

Beaver anything will attract Canines. Rendered tail oil can produce fantastic results on coyote, fox and fisher.

The beaver bomb set was derived from spilling some oil accidentally close to made sets. The oil is good for projection sets where a rub response is desired. Also as a trailer, only need a few drops across travel way to stall them out.

I caught this female last Sunday on a dirt hole set and some Back-breaker castor thrown into the hole on some sheep wool..
