This is Jake's place, been there 3 times, be was great to talk to (R.I.P.).... great trap collection if you are looking for some rare ones. Worth a visit. All of the Museums I have posted, I have visited, take some time and visit your heritage and history even if only on the web.

I grew up in Riverton and knew Jake very well. He was a great trapper and a Fur Buyer in Riverton. I always stopped in to see him when I went back to visit family and talked traps and trapping. He has a great collection of traps on display at the museum plus all the taxidermy mounts and native indian artifacts. If you are passing by area it is a must stop. I remember talking to his son when Jake was in his late 80's and Jake come driving up , I said he is still driving. His son said yes he is ,drives great on drivers side of truck. I looked at his truck not one dent in truck on drivers side, rest of truck didn't have a straight panel any where. We both laughed.
