Some more West Texas Predator school pics. A view to remember Brian and his cat egnoring each other. Jeff and one spotted up Texas cat. Some goober and his cat. One more of the mornings cats. Ronnie and Gary with one of Ronnies dogs. He also took home top trapper for the week. Hear is one of Ben and his coyote. Here is a couple of Andy and Garry teaching the finer points of snaring. Hear is a pic Wayne and the one that almost got away. Gary wasn't having any of it though, got him with his best quick draw. Here is a happy trapper and his teachers. John showing his skills. And one of our instructors. Mitchell missed this picture, he was probably helping some one at the time. Hope yall enjoyed the pictures.

1st 3 songs are some good ole Missouri boys that go by "The Dillards". Doug Dillard is my favorite banjo player. The last song is old hickory by the old crow medicine show. My favorite band. They're most famous for "Wagon wheel" I believe they hail from WV
great pics Dave! Thanks for sharing

Boco, it was in mid March. Itd be 40° in the morning and 70° in the afternoon. You'd get frostbite and sun burnt the same day lol

Good write up about your experience in Texas. I am glad you got to attend and your trip and adventure was a pleasant one.
Looking at your pictures, I just have one question and that is where you were in NE Texas because they look like the other side of the State in NW Texas.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

I have also been recently told that Wayne is offering several oppertunites to learn from him this upcioming year. For anyone who is interested, I would call him ASAP.

Thanks for sharing! One of my dream traplines would be a line through the Palo Duro on horseback.

Thanks for sharing! One of my dream traplines would be a line through the Palo Duro on horseback. It ain't too bad from a ranger. One of my most favorite places I have been on this earth. So much cool history. Quannah Parker was captured there, all sorts of artifacts have been discovered, there is still an old post that stands 10 feet tall where all the supply wagons met. Mitchell really knows the ranch well and had tons of interesting tidbits about it. I have been there 3 times, hope to get back there a few more.
