Not planning on it. Article 1 section 2 says an enumeration shall be taken every ten years for the purposes of apportioning representatives and direct taxes. Tenth amendment says all powers not granted to the feds are reserved for the states or the people, so the only legal question is the enumeration, and only for the purposes of determining reps and direct taxes. The states could conduct their own census and ask most anything, but not the feds. Using the census to distribute all sorts of funds is blatantly unconstitutional, and even if it were Constitutional, things like skin color and genitals shouldn't determine how much funds get distributed.

You're both thinking like free individuals, but the truth is we are all slaves if you really think about it. There is no escape. We have owners and they control most. We get little specs of freedoms to make us feel good and free but the owners are slowly taking those away too. We are and have been slowly circling the drain for a while now.

I don't disagree with that. That's why we've got to be vigilant and not accept any amount of freedom taken away, no matter who or where it comes from or how unimportant it seems. If you allow the freedoms that don't matter to be taken away, pretty soon "they" will take away the ones that do matter too.

I for one am very disappointed in the whole thing. Not including the are you a citizen question is ridiculous. WE THE PEOPLE have a right to know who's here illegally and to stop all the extra funding, electoral counts, seats and so forth. It should have never gotten to SCOTUS and Roberts should be ashamed of himself. I will be writing on the Census form that I'm not answering nothing until they make this right.

Sovereignty of the Republic is our greatest concern. Allowing such an influx of people who know not the liberty provided by the Constitution, but only knowing the corrupt/leftist leaning countries from which they will come, will destroy this Republic in which we live. Unfortunately even those who often preach liberty, also support an open boarder policy.

But no-one wants to answer any questions but will be the first to whine when the liberal cities/states get even more gov't say.

"ROBERTS" no more needs said about that.

the question: Are you a citizen of the U.S.? should be the first question on the census!

As my German prof used to say... all we have is "the freedom to talk"
