Been using the powder coated z for years and they are starting to show their age. I’m a fan of speed dip and wondered how the powdercoat would take the dip. Turns out not to be a problem! Dip went on even and dried rock hard after two days!

Dipping is a great way to treat DPs, conibears, and waterline footholds.
I like waxing mine too, since most DPs are above ground the frost here can impact the working parts. Waxing seemed to help me keep them operating in light freezing drizzle and heavy frost.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
