My wife and I spent a week driving back roads of Colorado and I picked up some good old traps. One was a Newhouse #3 but the pan had a No 8 on it. Looks as though the maker flipped the 3 over and restamped the pan. Any ideas??????

Happened a lot back in the early days...take that sucker out and catch some fur with it....good luck
