Was looking at getting a part time job the my tractor supply seems to always have job openings ,seemed like a nice place to work but wanted to know if anyone had worked at a TC in general . How was it ?

Lots of good people at the one's around here have yet to run into a jackwagon at one yet always helpful and friendly.

Pretty decent people in our stores up here.

Just walk right up to one of the employees and ask them.

I love tractor supply. I almost worked there but at the same time I was offered that job I was offered a better job, only ever had an issue with a snotty person there once. And it was one in a city not out in the sticks. Little miss perfect had to make a comment because I borrowed 5$ off my buddy, what she didn’t realize was at the age of 18, I had just finished paying my last medical bill from my broken neck. A total of about 10,000 Of course I looked like bum, head to toe grease because I just got out of work. Some people’s kids I guess.

I've had 3 friends work at ours,,,,but no more,,,,,,high turnover HERE is because the Mgr is an arrogant bonehead, that has no people skills.
Its like any other biz,,,,,depends on the management, as to how good a place to work it is.

For instance, my wife was hired to "make salads and wraps" and other "in the back" jobs...…..now the Mgr has decided he wants her on the register 75% of the time.
She HATES that, espsecially since she can hardly read all those lil words on the hundred keys.
He doesn't seem to care, about her vision, or that he broke his word to her......twice actually.

ASK THE STAFF THERE, 1 one day,,,,,,,,,then another staff the next day/week......... "if they had a friend looking for work, would they suggest working there?"

Never had an issue with the local store other than coming to the realization they hire labor not knowledge. I enjoy the local feed and seed where I can have actual conversations about the products I buy. But sadly that seems to be the model these days. That and many of their products are cheaply made.
Did you know you can buy bees and bee supplies through TSC? But can they offer after purchase advice and support? I know my local mom and pop bee supplier just up the road will answer my questions.
