The catalog was with a package of material that referenced the 1910 letter in the Trapping only Forum: TH

Sorry about that, fat fingered a key, ref date is between 1910 and 1920, alot of the articles are written by Richard Wood, (Adirondack Dick), Dick went by Richard before he switched to FFG and working with Dailey. You can find the same pictures under Richard and Dick in FFG, HTT and Fur News the match up Triumph advertisments and articles in other mags like the Farm Bureau, which are shown in the scrap book referenced. I will be photo copy the rest of the catalog by Monday, I usually only post Monday thru Friday

Good research Joe, very interesting, would you like me to send you the above catalog for review. You might find some other interesting items as there is a page that lists all the traps and their prices they made at the time. They seemed to be pushing the Kangaroo version the most along with the triple clutch, I will check some HTT to see if I can find and add before 1919.

The article is written by Richard E Wood, that is Dick Wood (Adirondack Dick, EJ Daileys future partner), the photos are not from Dick Wood. Dick wood early articles were all under the name Richard. I will check on those to night. He and Dailey got on the Triumph payroll some how, The series of article above mentions that Triumphs sent Dailey a large amount of traps, it was after this date that Dailey and Woods started writing and showing photos of them using the Triumph traps. Later Dailey became a Blake & Lamb dealer. Hope this helps.

Joe, check out this link to 1920 Fur News, May 1920 has EJ Dailey feature article trapping skunks. Years worth of great articles, Dick Wood making a hollow log fisher set.
