What are everyone's thoughts on Basswood on stretchers? Is basswood all it is cracked up to be?
I have not used wood stretchers before and looking for opinions.
Lastly, who makes high quality boards for sale?
Thank you

Always buying Coon Dagger traps

Bass wood makes some fine forms. It's soft knot free for most part and If dried correctly won't warp.

Lots of good boards out there. But I would NEVER buy any of their rat boards. Way to wide In the shoulder area. That width will lose you at least 2" In length. And size does matter.

How about a closeup of that pipe clamp vise. Nice idea.
