I just seen on the news where a motorcycle backfired in time square,and it caused a huge stampede of people,some being hospitalized.
Apparently they were all terrified they were going to be shot.

When I was in high school, my buddies dad had an old ford pick up. We'd drive around, turn the key back a click, build pressure, hit the key and KA-BOOOM! Watch the people jump out of their shoes. We'd just laugh and laugh. I'd bust a kids arse if they did that to me today!!

The best one was a house that had a Doberman pincher. The house was at the bottom of a small mountain. My buddy would coast the truck all the way from the top. That dog would run in a couple of small circles before high tailing it around the house.

Next thing you know the demonrats will want to buy back all fully semi-automatic assault vehicles, and if you want a muffler to prevent the loud noise, you'll have to pay an extra tax stamp.

People are going to start making loud noises in public now just to watch the chaos,lol.
Maybe a couple of recordings from the shooting range played back in the mall,etc.

That would be no different than yelling FIRE in the movies. Highly frowned upon below your border Boco!

Gun shots are a VERY common thing in my town.

Then there is hunting fall,winter and spring.

Same here Newt. Almost everybody in my rural neighborhood target practices. Somebody is always shooting on a weekend or evening. My nearest neighbor is a 1/2 mile away, doesn't bother me a bit.

There is a gun club within earshot and three others not too far away.

City folk that will stampede like a herd of cattle over a loud noise crack me up.

i've got a shootin bench on my deck and use it a lot but i can't compete with my buddys ar down the road.

I heard a sign fell over in another place and scared some people too.

If the guy on the bike did it on purpose, which he probably did he should be headed to jail. No laughing matter when you look at the results. Here local in Pittsburgh gun shots are daily occurence, some of them right downtown in the middle of the day. I can't figure New York is much different. Standing around waiting to see if you get shot next is bad for future business, especially if that business is continuing to breathe.

lots of people duck when they hear a bullet zip overhead , thing is it was already past you when you heard it , not a bad idea to find cover for the second one simply if you hear it , it didn't hit you.

people should learn what real gun fire sounds like

one loud noise not much worry , the shooting if that is what it was is over , but the bang bang bang is different and has been the case in the real shootings.

Saw they are hunting down the guy on the bike now. You'd think they have better things to go after.

Say somebody or a kid gets trampled, and hurt or killed. Or in this town, somebody returns fire and that happens regular here.

The answer is quite simple; stay away from big cities, avoid large crowds like Walmarts or a football stadium. Good way to avoid the flu also. A lot safer in the woods or out at sea.

Several of my neighbors shoot almost every weekend for an hour or more at a time. I shoot fairly often. During the week, outside of hunting season, I only hear a few shots a day.

wait till somebody lights a string of firecrackers at an outdoor concert or something. at least then the talking heads on tv wont be talking about gun control

Take a couple short 2x4's and smack them together on their flat a few times on a quiet night.
