No relations Mr.Dobbins. Yet thankful to both men for their wisdom and helpful info shared on here.

Fullfreezer do you leave the kids at home when going after sheep or is the terrain safe enough to take the kids with you?

Man them blue berries look good. Nice and big we picked some but they are small and take forever to pick. Get out for crans soon though.

Geez that old 870 looks like it has been around the block a time or two.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Finally got around to extracting this years honey crop. Not too bad, 4 gallons out of one hive.
Was a great year for wildflowers and some very unique, dark honey came out of it. Wonderful flavor.
In the photo, the jar on the left is last years fireweed honey to compare.

Good question Jeff ! Wish I knew a definitive answer. Whatever it was sure overpowered the fireweed nectar.
Banner crop of wild raspberries and wild roses so I suspect that had a great influence.

That's pretty cool. I bet you can get a premium for that stuff. I made splits this year again, instead of honey. Ended up with a couple gallons. Just enough for my needs.

Oh, what's a carb, here and there?
Besides, too much protein, and not enough Coors Light can cause gum disease and tooth loss in the state of California!

Made it almost 3 years without censor!
