Peter Fonda had a long movie and TV career that spanned over 5 decades. Yes many may not like him or felt he was just riding coat tails but his career as an actor, director, writer etc. that shows he was very capable in his own right.

I agree Bryce. I can't imagine how many were inspired to climb on a motorcycle after watching him in Easy Rider.

RIP Peter.

Not so sure I was inspired by the movie Easy Rider, so much as the music sound track album..Think I almost ran the needle all the way threw that piece a vinyl. I know I ran the 8 track in the car enough to wear it out..Still listen to a couple them songs I liked every so often..takes me to my special place.

The river flows,it flows to the sea, where that river goes--is where I want to be(Ballad of Easy Rider) by Roger Mcguinn.

The best part of that movie was when those redneck good ole boys blew the punkin off that dope dealing wannabe biker hippie.

Didn't he always end up dying in all of his movies? Lol

Easy rider would have been such a good movie if Dennis Hopper had real actor working with him.

Didn't even know he had died. Showed his true colors on what he thought about women a year or so back when he was calling a conservative gal a "g ash" on twitter. Most of the libs calmed up. Don't dare call Hillary or some other lib woman a "g ash" but its ok to trash a conservative woman with that term. No grace...
