Thinking about getting a half dozen to mess around with (modify) and use over the winter when the snow flies for blind setting coyotes on trails or if another situation calling for a big trap would arise. It wouldn't be my go to trap, just for 1 specific farm I trap on mountain land where the chance of dog catches are slim to none. I normally have a couple deer carcass piles going from the deer season and the few yotes left are normally the tough buggers that I cant pick up with normal sets, basically my seed for next year. My normal yote trap is a fully modified #2 Bridger but id don't like the smaller kill area for blind setting. I do all my own mods so if I were to get them I would be inside laminating and possibly experimenting with a dogless idea I had. I talked to Jeff at MTP and he went and measured the outside jaw distance to make sure its Pa legal and he said it 6.5" outside and 6 and 1/16" inside so I should be good. Anyway, its just a idea I have for some tinkering around with traps but also a possible solution to pick up another coyote or 2..any thoughts

If u wanna inside lam, you might just get the #3 long offset. Here is offset #3 jaw thickness compared to a regular #4
