BENTONVILLE, AR—In a bold move intended to curb the thousands of deaths from vehicles each and every day, Walmart has decided to stop selling auto parts, sources confirmed Tuesday. According to shocking reports, people have purchased car parts at Walmart and then those cars have been involved in accidents, proving a direct correlation between selling auto parts and causing deaths. "We can no longer be complicit in an industry that kills over 3,000 people a day," said a spokesperson for Walmart. "Every time we sell a muffler, steering wheel cover, or flame decal, we are potentially causing the death of a person, and we cannot support that any longer." "It's clear that bad drivers and poor road conditions don't cause vehicular deaths---cars do." Full story here: https://babylonbee.com/news/walmart...XkedbYxpIo2WCaRWA6BStY9wwdXSfi-VuzAbgGCs

You are right tomahawker, 88k deaths per year directly related to alcohol, 4500 teens a year die from alcohol (this info comes directly from huffpost and CNN liberal media outlets) and no calls to ban any of it, not even ban advertising it. There is bigger money in alcohol than in trapping, fur sales, guns etc. But alcohol is also a control method for the government (especially the left) because an inebriated population can't fight back but a sober and armed population can!

That's funny, James. They could do a similar story in which they stop the sale of knives, including kitchen cutlery. If that could become law, we could simply purchase our government controlled food pre-cut into conveniently sized pieces, thus eliminating the need for the sale of those sharp weapons that take so many lives.

Everyone wants to blame a object, rather then the person, in shootings and drunk driving. I say hang the people doing it, and watch the numbers go down. It is not legal to shoot people, its not legal to drive drunk. So what else do you need? No one is calling to cut the sale of alcohol? Why should they? Blame the alcohol, blame the bar, Blame the bar tender, blame the gun, blame the ammo. It couldn't be a persons fault, the one breaking the law.

I’ll wager they still sell alcohol what! Absurd, we even have tv and media commercials promoting drinking booze, during major events when millions of teens watch the SuperBowl, while thousands of Americans suffer the mangled bodies and deaths of dui’s. This Bud’s for you I agree. What doesn't make sense to me is they seem to promote booze while they criminalize tobacco use. While there's no doubt you will be healthier as a non-tobacco user, you won't be the death of someone else if you are a user.

If Walmart really gave a hoot about people like they say, and are worried for their safety, they would have removed the big bad bullets from the shelves immediately instead of keeping them till they sell out.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Over 3 million Americans have died of second hand smoke from cigarettes. On average 41,000 more Americans die from second hand cigarette smoke every year, even now when everyone knows it's bad for you. Keith

I've always wondered how they can determine if someone dies from second-hand smoke.
What about third-hand smoke? (Where someone merely detects the odor of prior smoke.) Does that kill people too?
