I got it so bad that Im liable to put traps down with out anchoring them. Lol. Been scouting out places to trap and attempting to make use of my one game camera. Any one else shaking this bad that they might set off a trap before bedding it?
You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

Don't worry. There will be no fire arms on this trap line. Slightly to urban

Since I started land trapped by my deer hunting has come in second. Used to walk the woods and notice every deer trail, food source and watering hole. Now all I see is coyote track, scat and other sign. I am sure it has always been there but now I notice it all.
Wish I had more time to trap....

I'd love to be there for you new guys ups and downs, big fun. Skin a few cold ones, the shine will wear off a little.
Might just be me, but I think being nervous hurts your catch, confidence is better.

I quit deer hunting all together years ago. Had so much fun trapping coyotes I wasnt going to focus on anything else. Welcome to the sport and let us know how it goes! Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Just set a dummy hole with a camera. Here hoping I have good location. Maybe I will get lucky and see a bobcat.

Well my first set is in the ground. Let the games begin. Set the trap off twice. Once was my little boy stepping his boot on it. He was'nt hurts'The second time was a rock getting kicked at it. He wanted it to POP! I will be checking and adding to the line as time goes by. The trees were alive with grand colors.

I quit deer hunting all together years ago. Had so much fun trapping coyotes I wasnt going to focus on anything else. Welcome to the sport and let us know how it goes! Jim Me to in all my twenty years of deer hunting I never got the enjoyment as I did when I seen my first yoter in a trap! Years later I still get the excitement. Anchoring a big buck is exciting but a true bouncing double will trump any day! All I hunt now is turkeys and I think that's because its spring and my trapping itch has been nullified
