Six people. That's how many people may have died due to vapes. This is stupid. Yes sir Mr. Proffitt! And look at how many want the Gov to step in and make more laws, more restrictions. It's crazy. I say if they are 18 or over, let'em have at it, it's there choice. I think sometimes true Freedom scares people in to believing hype. P.S. So glad to see you posting Aaron, so glad!

i think part of the problem with the flavoring is that it could be seen as marketing to minors Minors are the ones using... You dont see many middle ages people vaping. Just a bunch of teenagers who will say smoking is bad for you, but vaping is ok. "They read it on the internet so it must be true" Good riddance, those morons have no idea what they're sucking into their lungs, and worse blowing it back out in somebody else's face, just like the bungholes that still smoke tobacco!

You don't have to fog the whole house to get a little nicotine. Dang kids inhale about 30 normal hits at a time, just to be the coolest one. The "formative years" (they used to call it) is a terrible time to way over-indulge anything. I don't use e-cigs and sure wouldn't do flavored.

The problem is not e- cigarette or the registered manufacturer. This epidemic is like blaming the gun for mass murder without looking closer at root cause.
You can't legislate stupidly.
People are putting illegal additives to the device for a real high. An illegal manufactucturer was putting 200x the normal dose of his street product and making thousands of capsules a day and bring in a million a week in sales.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of vaping or promoting it but the spike in deaths and sickness is due to a criminal element introducing a bad product that these kids are getting off the street

As usual it's a crock from the government. Follow the money..... This stuff isn't taxed like tobacco so it's got to go. I smoked for over 30 years. At the end, I barely had enough lung capacity to take a breathalyzer test (I have to take frequently for work). That was 4 years ago and I switched to vaping. Now, I don't even expel a third of my lung capacity when I take the test. I also have to take lung function test for wearing protective clothing with respirators. 4 Years ago, I could only make the bare minimum. Now I pass these test with flying colors. No one can tell me that vaping isn't better than smoking tobacco. Though I agree it's not as good as clean air. I make my own "juice" I know what is going into it. As far as kids are concerned. Sounds like a parenting issue to me. I guess everyone want's the government to parent their children and take that responsibility?

Imagine how well you would perform and feel if you would quit and allow your heart and lungs to recover.
Don’t worry, the tax is coming, and it will be big, as it should be. Sorry we disagree.
My income taxes, and my healthcare premiums are being used to prolong the lives of cancer and heart patients who are smoking themselves to death. For God’s sake, look at the mortality tables. Smoking is a bad bet. Everybody looses.

Smoking is a bad bet. Everybody looses. If you are going that route, how about banning Burger King, Mickey D's, Potato chips and all of the other food that makes people fat. After all, overweight illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, mobility issues, lung issues, circulatory problems and the like can all be blamed on people overeating and eating the wrong foods. Maybe the government should step in for everyone's own good? Since apparently people want the government to raise their children instead of doing it themselves, perhaps the government should take the children from mothers and fathers that let their children get over weight or to skinny?

Do fast food restaurants put carcinogens in their products. No, because they are inspected and regulated for our safety. Calories and ingredients are available. Not so with the vape ingredients.
You could vape distilled water and blow steam out your car window I suppose.
Did we gore your ox? If the state of California has its way, everything we eat will be labeled as a carcinogen.

Easy to go and check the list of flavors and see that they are targeting and marketing to kids. It’s become a big problem in many high schools around here and now even middle school kids are doing it.
I think most smokers only liked the flavor of tobacco because they were addicted to it. I have never used any tobacco product and besides some flavored pipe smoke, tobacco smoke has always smelled terrible to me. Adults actually enjoy the many flavors of E-juice. I am sure I'm not the only one here who has been in Krogers, Walmart or some other store and seen some adult woman or man get in a tizzy, because the store was out of some fruity sounding, E-juice flavor.
