POTUS is holding a rally next week in the next city over. I am debating to go or not. Saw on facebook "peaceful" protests are being planned too. Not sure if the headache of dealing with these "peaceful protesters" would be worth it or not.

Around here the question is if you go can you park within reasonable walking distance. Trump brings huge crowds.

Grousewit, lol they are still throwing a tantrum after 3 years. Rofl laugh

Getting There, lol. nothing really, unless they destroy my only vehicle. It's 18 years old so the insurance will total it.

John C, that's a good question the stadium holds about 8000. Last time I went there was for a graduation we had to walk about 20 minutes to get to the door. I would have to get the very early to get a good spot for sure

You ought to take your kids along. The crowd will be subdued but a little loud, maybe the kids will learn something. I take my kids to concerts at redrocks in morrison all the time, it is not subdued, but we have a good time. Our kids get to see people with purple hair, they tell me many of them smell like feet........... grin

Go if you have the chance. You and your kids will never forget it! Tha protesters will be held back a good distance and you will probably not have to worry about them. As others said-go early.

There will be more Trump supporters than protesters, by a huge margin. If you stay with the group you should be fine.

Get there early. Most, maybe all Trump events run out of seats.

that is awesome Baca. LOL i am sure there are a lot of people at the Redrocks smell like feet lol

I will have to figure a work around to take the kids since only 2 tickets are allowed and not sure how it all works yet. The only POTUS I have ever seen was 41 and that was watching his motorcade on the freeway.

Still haven't decided if I'm going or not tomorrow. News says several groups are going to be protesting, and over 20k people have tickets for the event (stadium holds roughly 7500).
I know The city is in doesn't have the police force, even if they called in the sheriff's and state troopers it still wouldn't be enough. My buddy went to one a few years back and got jumped by a group of people because he was wearing a maga hat. He landed up giving them a beating they won't forget.

My oldest sister went to the one in Williamsport,Pa. And said it was a hoot.

I'd go if the chance presented itself.

My vote is go. The more that show up at a Trump rally the better. Not too many chances we get as H2ORat said to po the liberals.

Funny, or sad, for me to see that you had to ask a forum to decide what to do.

Go if you feel it important, and don't go if you don't.

It's that simple.

Pete

It's a no brainer. definitely go. I went when he came to the coast. It was awesome. Not to mention being among thousands of like minded people.
