How long do you let the meat soak in bait solutions before you use it?

You can use mine when it becomes stable. A month later it's better and six months later it's better yet.

Meat penetration of a bait solution or other type ingredients will vary greatly depending upon the condition of the meat. Ground meat will have faster absorption of the materials. Chunk meat preparation will require a few weeks depending upon the type of meat and storage temperature conditions. The base fluid of the solution will also determine the penetration rate of the material into the meat greatly.

White meats tend to absorb materials more quickly and more easily then red meats. Coarse red meats such as heavier tissue muscle will require the most absorption time. Slight knife scoring of chunk meats will greatly increase penetration potential of the meat chunks.

Keeping the bait some what warm and handy to stir frequently will provide you with the most optimum absorption into the meat base in the least amount of time.

I am going to mix with beef. Oxtail neck meat livers things my family won't eat from the half we bought. Figured if I started it within the next week or so. Won't start setting for coyote until gun season is out. Does this sound like it will work?
