Clinton lied under oath before congress, prior to becoming president had a history of womanizing, and while president, allegations besides Lewinsky of unwanted behavior when it came to women. Yet, his supporters maintained these things were immaterial as far as him performing his duties as president.
With Kavanaugh, none of these allegations were ever proven. With Clinton they were. That's a big difference.

She's good....
You never take anything for granted in politics, but this is what happens with a political party on the ropes, with no real platform, and their mouthpiece on the decline. The thing about desperation is that its stench is unmistakable.

Barney Frank got caught running a male prostitution business out of his Washington DC apartment. he aid it was his room mate doing it and he is still there. The hypocrisy is astounding.
Barney Frank wrote the small business act of 2012. One of the provisions was that when you went to the bank to get a loan for your small business you had to sign an affidavit guaranteeing you did not look at child pornography on your company computer or any other device. I read the small business act of 2010 after I refused to sign the affidavit and left my bank. By signing it I was also giving the IRS permission to seize my office equipment and vehicles if they suspected someone in my business used a device in my business to view child pornography. Well I needed the load- two of them in fact so I ended up going back and signing that crappy paper. For years I have wondered ''what if that paper float up somewhere and what if I have to try to explain why I had to sign some pieces of crap guaranteeing I was not a child molester.'' This is the kind of thing politicians do to people of the opposite party. I'm thinking of running for a local office. Would that bother you if the guy you want to vote for has that signed paper on file with the IRS and it turns up? Do you remember hearing about the heads of a few companies getting investigated for having child pornography on ''their '' computer? There were lots of people while Obama was president that were ruined by that. Of course- why would you not want to sign that unless you do that?
Those people are bad. They want you to sit down and shut up or go away so they can get control of the government.
Sorry for the rant- can't wait for trapping season to start!

With Kavanaugh, none of these allegations were ever proven. With Clinton they were. That's a big difference. Yup yet he was impeached and remained in office. IF Trump gets impeached they WILL remove him I doubt that. The house impeaches on a simple majority, which is the equivalent of a grand jury. Basically they say "we find evidence that crime X has been committed." Then it goes to the senate, where the crime is tried; the equivalent of a trial. If the president is found guilty by a vote of 2/3rds of the senators present, then he is removed from office. That's what happened to Clinton....the house impeached him, but he wasn't convicted in the senate, which is why he kept his office. Donald Trump could be impeached, I'd even say it's likely he will be impeached, but in order to be removed from office, the democrats would need a 2/3rds majority in the senate, which I don't see happening. And even if he was impeached and convicted and removed, Mike Pence would become president, it wouldn't just be a free for all where the democrats get to pick the next president. Interestingly, the constitution doesn't spell out the standard of proof required for impeachment and conviction, so it's left up to the house and senate what that burden should be. So basically it's whatever they want, and can very easily just become a political game.

The blue want a hanging of anyone or anything just to prove they are superior. That party has always been blood thirsty and out to be the only answer to every issue this country has had. They are back stabbing to the American people and the liberals are showing more hate all the time.

Trump will be impeached before the election by the house, that's where it will end. Anything the Dems can do to make him look bad and try to effect the election. What a waste of resources, Dem. voters should be embarrassed. Not sure if they'll even impeach. Cory L. Made them look pretty stupid yesterday at the impeachment hearing. But, so did the last couple and yet they keep calling more to testify. Are they that crazy?

Clinton wasn't impeached because of his long history of naughty escapades, but for lying to congress under oath. Apparently, his escapades weren't worthy of impeachment.
Meaning, even if Kavanaugh were guilty, why should he be impeached? Shouldn't the same standards apply for everyone? The real reason the left wants Kavanaugh out has nothing to do with his past. They know he's a conservative that will not move in the direction they want the country to move. They want SCOTUS leaning left. Which they won't get with Kavanaugh.

If the left believes the accusations against Kavanaugh to be true, and he denied them under oath, wouldn't they paint him as guilty of the same thing as Clinton?
To be clear, I'm not advocating for impeachment, just saying. Only if they could prove Kavanaugh lied under oath, which they haven't been able to do. Clinton on the other hand, was proven to have lied under oath.

Clinton was actually impeached, just not removed from office...as I understand it. Impeached by the House, not by the Senate which resulted in him remaining president.

What does reality have to do with this entire 3yr hoax? Nothing, they are hoping to create enough noise that people will think there's something there. From my readings, it works on a few.
