Just wondering what make of broadhead are you using? What grain, 3 blade etc.?

Been running the Montec G3’s for almost 10years now. Stainless ones are tougher but harder to sharpen. The carbon steel take a wicked edge quickly.

I’ve been using for compound bow a g5 montec and striker 100gr. I have been very happy with that

I have a friend that swears by grim reaper broadheads. I have seen them and think I may switch over.

Montac G5 Striker. Used to be a True fire T1 but Montac bought them out. The True Fires were built better.
I have killed a lot of elk and deer with them and they work well. I won't let anyone hunt here with a mechanical. Way to many wounded animals over the years. [Linked Image]
This years bull. 35 yard double lung. DRT

I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

Using 100 grain Spitfires. They are expanding broad heads. I like them.

Looks like most like the 3 blade and majority it looks like use 100 grain. I use muzzy/100/3 blade and I have liked a lot of big game through the years. I have had many kills with little or no blood trail using muzzy broadheads this time I had a blood trail a blind man could follow. it was a down hill shot of 40 yards and a heart shot. I have been useing them for at least 20 years if my numbers are right. I have been debuting for years I need to change but I like to stay with what I have confidence with.

100 grain spitfires. Used for years never had any failure or lost animals. Killed deer and bears one bear made 5 steps and dropped dead . I was on the ground had a hard quartering away shot through the last rib and out the neck opposite side cut the jugular. 158# boar black bear.

The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

In the past I have shot Muzzys and Thunderheads with a high degree of performance. We now shoot Magnus Stinger serrated broadheads, excellent penetration.
