Hello I was just wondering if anyone out there has tried mouse snaring. I have done it and it is as possible as snaring any animal and just as satisfying too.

That's cool.

Our son snared Chipmunks years ago at our place, when he was on leave from Military. He used a lightweight Weasel snare.

I'm just using 12 pound mono fishing line and a very small fishing swivel I tie a couple of knots on the back side so I can staple to a piece of wood to fasten the snare. Cheapest snares ever made(:

About a 3/4 in loop but I just measure the loop the size of my thumb. and not very high off the ground at all quarter inch or so, Although the mice I've been catching are really small.

that's cool ive been trying to catch enough to stock my pen! Are all of them alive so far? I only need 30 to get it up and operating! My pens more like a mouse condo 2'x4'x4' and4 levels with a full nursery

What in the world are you trying to keep 30 mice for?

Mouse urine is some stinky stuff. I bet whatever smelled it near a set would have to check it out. Take some mouse bedding that has been urinated on and bag it up haha or just throw whole mouse down the hole
