Thinking of changing to a new phone company. Any suggestions?

They all suck!

The wife went with Straight Talk she gets nothing but junk calls (out of area) several times a day avoid them if you can.

That doesn't have anything to do with straight talk, every phone company has that problem. If you aren't having that problem, the bad guys just haven't found your number yet but they will.

Excessive amount of calls it looks like the phone plans are cheap but they sell the heck out of their customers numbers, yes I get the calls also but 1 for every 20 she gets I doubt that's a coincidence. She got a call as I was typing this! LOL

man do i hope i never have to get one,sorry,son got a new phone last night and the number was crazy to me and i wish he hadn't even told me.he pipelines on the road so needs it though.i don't--yet.

my wife m kids , parents ,brother and his family are all on Google.

google uses end user agreements with all sorts of cell companies so coverage is basically the same as any of the big companies , but it has some interesting features and you pay only for the data you use , leave data turned off and you only pay for the phone flat rate monthly.

I think I have the same plan as pcr2. It is very nice. I can do my thing without any interruptions. I get more done that way. I enjoy having conversations with people who have the same plan. We can have a full conversation with no interruptions. It sure is nice having a conversation with someone without them looking at their phone and/or texting.

I do not have a work phone tho I do see that day coming. I doubt they will be very happy as I will use it just as a work phone. Also, if there is something on my person that can be broke, it will be broken at some point.

you know you live in the middle of nowhere when i still don't have cell coverage anyways and they practice refueliing jets over your house.

i'm always interested at the look on peoples face when they realize their cell phone is useless here.

That's only because you're down in the river valley. Up on top of the ridge at my camp we get good signal. A lot of times guys will sit at the end of my lane and make calls home to their sweeties after hunting hours. They don't get service below me.

nothin to see multiple cars in an open spot on top of a hill on their cell phones.

We have spotty service in our house. My wife knows where she can be. Once in awhile I will get a call on her cell. I am not one that can stand in one place and talk. I am always walking around. That or I am looking for something that I can do while on the phone. Most of the times I loose the call. My friends know to just call on the land line once they know I am at the house.

I like how people complain how hard it is to get ahold of me. I am either home, in the swamp or at work. If you really need to get ahold of me it is not that hard. You just need to get off your back side most of the time. That is what I do. I either call my friends at home or I go see them.

Don't know who you have now but they have some great deals going on now just about giving the latest phones away and they ain't cheap just check the hidden fees and small print before you sign on the line.

I just got a new "smartphone" I hate it I'd go back to a flipper in heart beat it has a mind of it's own hyper touchy takes me so many place I don't want to go just searching my contacts it calls people out of the blue. More then I ever need simple my butt it's a pain!

I have Verizon, because they’re the only company that has decent coverage here. It’s still spotty but better than others.

Same here but their customer service sucks when you need it, lots of lying and calls cutoff when you need something, I found it best to complain on their Facebook page and they get things done right now without a big hassle then.

Verizon now....after 12 years of crappy t mobile

We love it... Smartphones are great if you take 12 minutes to learn a new phone

I’ve had them all over 28 years, we have Sprint now and they suck on coverage but cheap, Verizon is tops and A.T.T. Is second for coverage, but more expensive, when our contract runs out, we’ll go back to Verizon!

Get out of here with that logical techno babble mumbo jumbo. I just want to be able to throw a stick at someone to get their attention and grunt at them and wave my arms until they understand or leave.

Just don't get me started on those blasted self-checkout whatchamacallits. Devil's technology right there.
