Yall that are using steel screen pan covers on MB 550 s are you cutting a square notch for the dog or a v notch? Mine don't want to lay exactly flat with a V after the loose jaw is down. Thanks

Square notch, I use aluminum carbon coated from Rural King. Lays perfect.5.5x6


Common sense catches alot of fur..

A wide square notch. Rubber bands from spring to spring across the pans seem to help too.

I cut mine to fit inside the jaws. Works great and they lay flat if you form them in. Square notch for me also. [Linked Image]
Just got that guy today with screen. I do use aluminum charcoal color heavy screen


Wish I had more time to trap....
