I'm planning on trying out some sabertooth drags this season, and need some advice as to whether I should use #2 or #3 straight link machine chain. And what is a good length per drag, for those of you who have used these types of drags? Thanks

8 to 10' of #3 will be your best set up.

Ten feet of the biggest chain you can put on. Im known to crack the joke of using anchor chain. Lol. The point is you want the drag to stay on the ground. That's the only thing I know for sure.

You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

10ft of number 3 or I've used 15ft with the best results they always end up snagged up just a few feet from drag placement.
