Having picked up roadkilled cats in the past and used them for bait successfully, do you guys have any recipes or uses of cats other than just using them fresh? Have always had good luck with cats in the past, but I was wondering how you guys use them.

Thanks

Taint till greenish LOL then add salt or sodium benzoate to stop the taint, add glycerin to stop freezing and you can add 10 drops of PURE skunk essence per GALLON!

Seen foxes and coyotes dig 18 inch trenches 4-6 inches deep for this bait many times

Funny you mention that. About a mile down the road from me there was a road kill deer in the ditch for a day or two then a ditch tiger got whacked about 50 yards down the road. That was 3 days ago I think. The deer has been reduced to a pike of hair and a rib cage, but nothing has touched the cat.

Just don't swerve to bit the cats, you might end up in the ditch.

Wish I had more time to trap....
