This year I acquired some farm land south of wolf (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). First check found half my sets distroyed by the farmers cows. The farmer has since moved the cows from the area i am trapping. Any one out there with experience dea!ing with cows?

Yes. Questions for you: What kind of cows are they, and are they in a small pasture or large pasture? Are you trapping canines or what?

Biggest thing is to not set if the cows can see you and when you can set do it fast as they will investigate immediately. Horses aren't much better...had one try to take my wallet out of my back pocket once.

If you can set in slopes so they can sniff without getting their feet by the traps. Set under scrub brush or trees with low branches. If you find a spot near trees where you can run wire to fence the cows out of the set yet allow coyotes to run under without ducking.
