GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 18,635 Green County Wisconsin	definitely a saw set my grandpa swore by a good sharp hand saw if you only had a few boards to cut. he would say "by the time you go run that extension cord I will be done" once I learned how to sharpen a saw and had a good one , I have to agree with him. America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Yep, a sharp hand crosscut hand saw is about as fast a a circular saw and a sharp rip saw can rip a board more easily than most people would expect. I wish I knew how to use all the old sharpening tools I have for hand saws. I really enjoy using hand wood working tools.
