I just like seeing how other people are doing things on their mink sets. Last year I started snaring them and I found that snares work in a wide variety of ways.
nice Daniel, please tell Fruitland and Payette how much I miss them! lived there back during the 80's worked some at Woodgrain Moulding and the Outdoorsman across the river.
www.sevenoakstrappingsupplies.com for trap mods and gear The 10 Commandments are not suggestions. Buy a soldiers meal EVERY chance you can.
Get the eric space mink snaring dvd! Packed with a lot of info from location to remakes and snare types. But I also enjoyed river birchs channel as well both very similar on technique and location.. River birchs terrain is very similar to what I see. Eric has a few culvert techniques that will make lites go off!
Daniel, in the first set of pictures you posted, in pictures # 1 and 4 your lock is too close to your support, making the snare fire slower. Always want at least an inch of cable between lock and supporting place, more if possible. Pics 2 and 3 are good, with lock at least in 12 o'Clock position. Eric
